Movement + Mindfulness Education Series: The Kinetic Chain

WHAT: Once a month workshops, over the course of a year, for students looking for deeper knowledge, and experience, and for yoga teachers (minimum 200RYT) looking for YA continuing education credits.
WHEN: Second Sunday 12:30pm-2:30pm
PRICE: FREE to Metta members, Drop-In Rate $35, all 12 for a discounted rate of $300,
$50 each for those needing a CEC (and certificate)
WHO: To maximize the effectiveness of the teacher/student ratio, workshops must have 5 people registered to run, and are limited to 10 students.

7 - 12 (August-December) Prop{ER} Alignment: Asana Lab

1st Installment- January 13th 12:30-2:30pm
The Kinetic Chain: A two-hour workshop, led by Carissa, anatomy enthusiast, where students will learn to identify each part of the kinetic chain, and put into their own words a definition for how this shapes all forms of movement. Students will also take home a comprehensive understanding of the mechanics of a human skeleton, and joint range of motion. Students will take home knowledge of movement to incorporate in their own practice, or their teaching.
