Mattie began a regular aerial practice about a year and a half ago after trying an introductory class. Aerial appealed to her because focusing on the right positioning and stability gave me an hour each week for my mind to have a break from life.
Mattie trained this fall in the 50 hour aerial teacher training with Carissa so that she could develop as a teacher to help others learn about this unique field of movement.
Mattie works as a medical assistant for York Hospital and has an athletic background in teaching and competing in equestrian sports.
As a new instructor she looks forward to teaching and learning alongside veterans and beginners in the Metta Studios community.
