Balanced Athlete Level 1 Training

Balanced Athlete coaches are trained to guide students in quality of movement and intentional mind/body integration through fitness.
Our program can be incorporated into multiple settings that include physical therapy, strength and conditioning centers, fitness clubs, personal training studios, yoga centers, CrossFit Boxes, and physical education classes. Our system can be used for one-on-one coaching or in group training environments.
Balanced Athlete methodology presents advanced understanding of human structure and movement in simple and digestible terms, providing depth of knowledge while presenting understandable theory that anyone can learn.

3 day training with Johnny Gillespie.  Friday, April 27th 6-9pm, Saturday April 28th, 11-6pm, & Sunday, April 29th 11-6pm.

Barre & Matte Teacher Training-POSTPONED

If you have a passion and love for mindful movement based in alignment and integrity, then this is the training for you!
Join Elizabeth April and Carissa Rubin for 100 hours of barre and matte teacher training in March...you will receive a comprehensive, thorough, and inspiring training to prepare you fully to teach an effective and safe barre and matte class.
Expect class participation, observation, assisting, and practice teaching all paired with anatomy, alignment, hands-on adjustments, pregnancy modifications, injury modifications, and a ton of inspiration.
We pride ourselves in possibly shifting the norms of your typical barre class while still keeping its fundamental elements of the practice. We believe every hour of this 100-hour training is necessary and shifting the norms is entirely rooted in knowledge, experience, and practice from both Elizabeth and Carissa.

Class dates: 

Thursdays 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29, 4/5 and Friday 4/6 5:30pm-8:30pm

Saturdays 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 4/7 9am-6pm

Sundays 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25 9am-6pm
